If that were so, then a TT Z engine at 1 bar of boost (2 bar total since ambient air pres. a little over 1 bar), (1 bar=about 14.5 psi.) is seeing about 320-350 psi? The 400-500 psi is what a diesel engine gets on a compression test, I was thinking that since gas engines seem to seat fine at 160 psi, why would you need to stress an engine more when already it has 400-500 psi.
